Taiwanese Patent Attorney Act Is Ready to Proceed Second and Third Readings

On January 6, 2006 the Draft Patent Attorney Act was submitted for its first Legislative Yuan reading. At present, the draft is ready to proceed second and third Legislative Yuan readings which are likely to be completed during the current Legislative Yuan session. The Patent Attorney Act was introduced to strengthen patent attorney management and to protect the rights of applicants.
